Massage Franchise Emerges as Rising Star among FranChoice Consultants and their Candidates

Jul 7, 2011

Highlands Ranch, CO – In just six months, Elements Therapeutic Massage, a fast growing franchise in the $20 billion massage category, has successfully signed on a growing number of franchisee candidates through FranChoice, a leading network of franchise referral consultants in the United States.

“I believe we are placing so many of our highly qualified candidates because Elements has an incredibly talented executive team that is totally focused on the success of their franchisees,” said Andrew Horton, Vice President of Franchisor Development with FranChoice. “When our candidates make validation calls to current Elements franchisees, they hear nothing but great things about the business, the industry, the support from Elements and, of course, the economic opportunity.”

By focusing on providing deep tissue and therapeutic massage services, versus the cookie-cutter relaxation massage and discount spa services (facials, etc.) that other massage concepts provide, Elements Therapeutic Massage has grown to 80 locations since 2007 and is on pace to open 500 franchise locations by 2015. The company is actively seeking qualified franchise candidates throughout Boston, Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, Seattle, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Dallas, Houston, Washington, DC, among other U.S. cities.

Across the country, Elements has generated strong growth even in a down economy with average studio revenues growing 19 percent in 2010 compared to the prior year.* For potential franchisees, Elements boasts a lower investment and cost structure with a smaller footprint, less build-out and lower rent than competitors in the massage retail space; making the franchise more operationally efficient, and is the only massage franchise to share certain gross profit information in its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

“We’ve strategically over-engineered our support systems in financial planning, real estate selection, marketing, etc. to sustain high-level corporate support for each of our franchisees,” said Jeff Jervik, President and CEO of Fitness Together Franchise Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Elements Therapeutic Massage. “The sign-on rate of franchisee candidates coming to us from FranChoice is a testament to the success of these programs, and we’re fortunate to work with FranChoice consultants across the country to help us find the right franchise partners to join our growing brand.”
