Therapeutic Massage Franchise Awards 3-Studio Agreement for North Texas

Mar 3, 2011

Award-winning franchise to open in Southlake this summer, with additional locations in Flower Mound and Colleyville to follow

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – (March 3, 2011) – Elements Therapeutic Massage, one of the fastest-growing franchises in America, is heading to North Texas. Today the company announced it has awarded a multi-unit franchise agreement to open three studios, with the first location to debut in Southlake this summer, followed by additional sites in Flower Mound and Colleyville.

David Fesperman, of Trophy Club, is the franchise owner who will introduce local residents to one of the fastest-growing therapeutic massage chains in America. And his first location at Southlake Blvd. and Nolen Dr. will employ certified massage therapists to meet the rising demand for expert massage therapy that Fesperman has witnessed from first-hand experience.

Fesperman became a devoted client of therapeutic massage when he broke his shoulder two years ago. On a doctor’s recommendation, he attended regular massage therapy sessions, and the treatment was so successful that he continued to make it part of his overall wellness regimen on a weekly basis.

As a successful entrepreneur and real estate broker, he was then introduced to Elements Therapeutic Massage when he wanted to invest in a growing franchise with an opportunity to open multiple locations. “I’m always looking for a good business opportunity, and this opened my eyes to franchising,” he said.

Fesperman is an experienced business owner who was attracted to being his own boss with the added advantage of operating a national brand name that is changing the industry. Once viewed as an expensive splurge, therapeutic massage is increasingly affordable and available from a growing Elements franchise network to address clients’ pains, tensions and stress.

“I want to be part of an industry with a positive effect on health and well-being,” Fesperman said. “And the most important attribute for the business was the ability to help people in the community the way massage has helped me.”

Ranked one of the fastest-growing franchises in 2010 by Franchise Times magazine, Elements has generated strong growth even in a down economy with average studio revenues growing +27% in 2009 compared to the prior year.* North Texas residents will be the next to experience the benefits to their health and wellness of Elements’ delivery of deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, sports massage and more.

A September 2010 study by the National Institutes of Health found that even a single massage has positive biological effects, including lowering levels of stress hormones, boosting the immune system and increasing a hormone associated with contentment.
