My massages are unique to each person. I start with long strokes to familiarize myself with your body. I then do finger work to address knots and tension. Finally, I use fists and forearms to elongate your muscles. During the massage, I encourage communication so you receive what your body needs.

I create a custom massage for those who are looking for mental as well as physical relaxation. Focus on  improving sleep, relaxing the nervous system and allowing clients to de-stress. My clients are people looking to relax  and refresh while creating a space for their body to return to its center . Specializing  in those who are looking for ways to help transition from working different shifts, students with brain fog, and those who suffer from insomnia and are looking for ways to switch their system over, to getting a restful night sleep.  I customize a flow  between styles of massage Swedish, Lymphatic, Neural muscular therapy, and Deep Tissue Sculpting to create balance in the body.

I greatly enjoy doing therapeutic deep tissue work on specific problems or pain areas. I have a listening style of therapeutic touch that meets the tissue where it’s at and slowly melts away tension. Some people’s bodies need to be met with firm, deep pressure directly into their problem areas in order to melt and release, so I work in that way. Other people’s bodies need light pressure or slow, flowing strokes in order to relax, so I follow that. In addition to my massage therapy training, I have 1000 hours of training as a craniosacral therapist (RCST). This work involves a listening touch that allows the tissues to gently reorganize themselves, so my touch has this deeply connected and listening quality.

My passion for bodywork has great rewards. Not only for myself as a massage therapist, but most importantly for the client receiving my touch. The greatest accomplishment is when I create complete relaxation in the body I have worked on.

I achieve the best results when using heat. One of my favorite modalities is Hot Stone therapy. The power of heat helps melt the muscle and makes it pliable in my hands to work out tension, stress, and any tightness stored in the body. One stroke with a heated stone can equate to six strokes with a hand.

Other modalities I enjoy are: Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, and Swedish. I look forward to partnering with you on taking care of your body.

Dan | Massage Therapist

Available Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

When in school I was taught people get a massage for three main reasons; touch, time, and talk. As well as these three reasons, I try to tailor the massage to each individual through open lines of communication, trust, and the tools I have acquired through education and experience. I work very detailed, thinking from the client’s perspective as to what would resolve the issue at hand. My style ranges from the lightest of the light (lymphatic drainage) to heavy (deep pressure). From the very start of the introduction, to the suggestions after the massage I will give the utmost attention to your needs or concerns. Ill offer my thoughts on how you may benefit yourself when not with us here at Elements Therapeutic Massage.

Jackie | Massage Therapist

Available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Joined Elements Team: April, 2017

My education is based on the direct relationship between body and mind. I offer deep tissue for tense muscles and Swedish for relaxation with some chronic areas needing myofascial release and trigger point therapy. For athletes, sports massage techniques such as cross fiber friction and pin & stretch will improve performance and recovery time. Therapeutic touch benefits health both mentally and physically!
