“What motivates me as a massage therapist is the chance to help people. Coming in and seeing old and new clients feeling much better when they leave than when they came in. Whether they came in for general stress and relaxation or needing extra work on injured and troubled areas. Through a balance of deep tissue, Swedish and sports work I plan to help bring some wellness and recovery into my clients’ lives. This is the reason I decided to become a massage therapist.”
Neck, Hips, Feet, Stretching, and Migraines.
“A success story for me is seeing progress in a session. They can be big or small changes, but every session is different and they each come with their own victories.”
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
“I like to incorporate Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage in my routine. I believe it is important for everyone to learn stretches. It is a great way to stay loose and focus on daily breathwork. For those with injuries or chronic issues, it is a good way to see how much progress you are making and how much you can do on your own. Deep tissue and Swedish techniques can give you the relaxation work while getting the long-term benefits of deep tissue.”
WHAT CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES ARE YOU INTERESTED IN TAKING?
Craniosacral and Trigger Point.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
“I personally love slow, deep tissue work. I find that is what works best for me.”
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
“People come in from all walks of life. All stressed for different reasons. Offering them a chance to escape, have some time for themselves, or aid in recovery is something everyone should experience and practice.”
