Cortiva Institute For Massage Therapy, Graduated 2013
"My style of massage is what I would call a "Therapeutic Flow" I love addressing specific areas with a detailed massage. I use different types of modalities to achieve relaxation and help to provide pain relief to my clients. The mixture of relaxation and a therapeutic session leaves you feeling balanced. Having 8+ years of experience as an LMT has helped me approach massage in a more effective and less painful way".
Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage/Athletes and lower back tension.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
"I believe what makes my massage unique is that my flow and pressure adapt to each client. The way I slowly feel and adjust to both injury and tension. I make sure I am detailed and try to get each area while making it feel like the massage was a complete full body."
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
"I love when the therapist listens carefully. When they approach the massage as not just another client on the table. That they make sure during the massage that I am comfortable with the pressure."
"A former client of mine had a shoulder injury. He was getting limited mobility, spasms, numbness and tingling through his right arm and fingers. I began seeing him for targeted 20 minute sessions, twice a week. Working on his neck and his right arm along the Teres major and minor, I focused on the spasms and found multiple trigger points. After about a month of treatment, the pain, spasms, numbness and tingling subsided."
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
"What I love about massage therapy is that I get to help other people in ways that others cannot. We remind clients that even one hour of your day is dedicated to you. Which encourages positive living and productive work when you feel better in your body."
