SUMMARY
I enjoy working individually with someone to help them have a better relationship with their body. Being able to relieve pain or stress that is locked in the body is a fantastic thing. I also don’t shy away from teaching moments. Understanding our bodies and how our muscles work can help someone so much more than we give it credit for.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point and Neuromuscular Therapy
SUCCESS STORIES
I had a client who just lived in a constant state of chronic pain (off and on for 30+ years). When I first saw her when she was having a particularly hard day and was stressed on top of all that. During just that first session, she could feel everything coming out. No one previously had taken the time to explore and work on anything other than her primary complaint. I took that time and the results were incredible.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
I do my best to create a realm of safety through acceptance, safety, and compassion. I listen carefully to everything my clients say and I do my best to include it in the session.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
Being able to feel safe and relaxed as soon as I get on the table. I often don’t realize how much I’m carrying until I receive massage and it’s such a relief to let it go.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
Every time I see someone stand taller (literally or figuratively) because they feel better after a massage is something I can’t get tired of. I have a passion for learning about the human body and different ways things connect. Being able to share that passion with people about how it relates to them is wonderful!
