"I absolutely love Crystal—she is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had, and I’ve seen dozens over the years. She’s personable, professional, kind, and incredibly thoughtful. She listens not only to my words but to my body, and her intuitive care makes every session feel restorative. Elements is truly lucky to have her.
That said, I do want to share some honest feedback regarding the business side of Elements since the recent change in ownership/management. I’ve noticed some disappointing shifts in pricing and policies:
- Massage duration concerns: My husband has visited the Sherwood location for 60-minute massages, but under the new management, they’ve consistently lasted only 45–50 minutes. This was never the case before. After raising the issue, he was given a 15-minute credit for his next visit. However, the same thing happened again, and when he brought it up, the response was curt and dismissive. He was told this shorter duration is now standard policy. The tone and lack of care left him feeling disrespected, and he has decided not to return.
- Pricing and hidden fees: The new pricing structure feels significantly more expensive, and with added charges, the total cost of a massage can nearly double. It’s frustrating and feels like there are hidden costs that weren’t there before.
- Holiday gift card changes: I’m also disappointed in the updated holiday gift card promotion. It used to be “buy one, get one free,” which felt generous and festive. Now, with the base price so high, “buy one, get one half off” doesn’t feel like a meaningful deal.
To be honest, the only reason I continue to come back is because of Crystal. If it weren’t for her exceptional care, I would likely seek massage services elsewhere.
