SUCCESS STORIES
I worked with a client who only came for deep tissue, they were hit by a car and we started working together weekly, along with her PCP and PT, to help her recover. We started with the lightest touch, circulatory massage and along with the rest of her team of providers, we were able to help her recover and get back to her normal active lifestyle.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
I do my best to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe with me. I follow their lead, if they are nervous talkers, I will talk to them while also leaving space where they can feel comfortable in silence and if they want complete silence I keep the talking to a minimum (treatment related questions only).
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
When a therapist has great nonverbal cues. I tend to be jumpy so I appreciate when a therapist will compress towards a new area they are going to start working before they undrape that area. It helps to keep me relaxed and not feeling like I have to be alert.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
I want to keep learning. I know I will never know everything but I want to learn as many modalities as I can so I can serve my guests appropriately. I don’t want to just learn those modalities, but I want to excel in them. I made a career move a little later in my life but I have never felt so passionate and sure about myself before. In this short time that I have been licensed I have gained regular Clients and seeing the relaxation and comfort I can bring to them is so rewarding.
