SUCCESS STORIES
I love to work on people for their first massage. I know how anxious it may make some people so seeing and feeling their bodies relaxing on my table is so rewarding.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
I do my best to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe with me. I follow their lead, if they are nervous talkers, I will talk to them while also leaving space where they can feel comfortable in silence and if they would like complete silence I keep the talking to a minimum (treatment related questions only). Having the luxury of working with such a diverse clientele helps me as a therapist to ensure comfortability and safety in the treatment room.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
When a therapist has great nonverbal cues. I tend to be jumpy so l appreciate when a therapist will compress towards a new area they are going to start working before they un-drape that area. It helps to keep me relaxed and not feel like I have to be alert.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
Every session is different. You can see a client every month for years and still be able to help whether that’s with pain or relaxation.
