SUMMARY
Throughout my life people have often referred to me as a calming presence and joining folks on journeys of healing has brought me joy. I began working the front desk at a massage studio while in grad school for psychology and admired the therapeutic relationship between LMT's and their clients on their paths to healing/wellness. As I continued in school while also beginning my own journey with experiencing massage, I quickly began to see how massage fosters healing, relaxation, and wellness. This prompted me to begin massage school in hopes to be able to join folks on their quests toward bodily healing through massage.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Deep Tissue, Swedish/Relaxation, Migraines/Headaches, Mental Health Conditions, Geriatric, Pelvic Tilt, Lower Back Pain and IT Band Tightness.
SUCCESS STORIES
I had a client in student clinic that had one of the most hypertonic muscles I'd ever encountered. Initially it didn't seem like I would be able to offer the required amount of pressure, but through communication I was able to warm up the muscles and provide the pressure to bring about relaxation. She became a repeat client and we saw results through her back pain lessening and her muscles continuing to improve in function and tone.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE
I appreciate back, neck, hand and foot work.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE
Hearing about folks' journeys of getting to know their bodies and how that can so strongly influence their overall (especially mental) health.
