SUMMARY
My goal as a massage therapist is to help bring my clients awareness back to their bodies. People nowadays operate at such a high capacity with little to no downtime for themselves. By listening to what the client says verbally, and then also listening to their body about what it might say is very important to help see change in the client.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
I bring an extremely client centered massage, ensuring all the wants are addressed for the client, but also helping them by working on areas which may need work done and which the client may not think about. I love listening to the body and have it tell me where it's holding stress or needs attention, because sometimes the body and brain aren't always on the exact same page.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Plantar Fasciitis, Deep Shoulder work, Trigger Point, Deep tissue work, pin and stretch, hot stones, cupping
SUCCESS STORIES
I have worked with many clients who primarily work at a computer and/or a work from home setting. It has been a pleasure of mine to no only help mitigate some of tension or pain, but also to reeducate them. Just because one part of the body is hurting doesn't necessarily mean it the cause, it could just be a "symptom" of another muscle throwing the body out of it's normal shape.
WHAT DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST WHEN RECEIVING A MASSAGE
The therapist listening to what i may be describing, but then going a step further to read my body on what I may have failed to describe to them.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE THERAPY
Everyone that gets on my table is a different person, so the massage should have that same approach. It's also a profession that makes people feel good, opposed to most other jobs out in the world today.
