Happy New Year doesn't seem adequate ...
Janet Schwab - Owner Feb 15, 2013
What an exciting new year it has been for Elements at Casa Paloma! Being named in the “Best Massage” category for the Ahwatukee Foothill News “Best of Ahwatukee” was an honor since it comes from our clients’ votes. Then there was the nomination for Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year- 2012. At the Chamber Day of Champions where the nominees were recognized, I was selected as the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year -2012. Being part of the community and having the opportunity to give back has been a gratifying experience. We were ecstatic knowing our business has made a difference in the community and being part of the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce has been rewarding for us as well. The support and opportunities the Chamber has allotted our studio have been invaluable.
My business partner, Cami, and I are very grateful for the opportunities we’ve had in building this business and we’ve both found our passion. Cami loves to be in the studio every day working with the staff and clients and I’m then afforded the opportunity to do what I am passionate about- working in the community educating others about the benefits of massage. As small business owners it can be challenging and worrisome at times, but if you learn to surround yourself with the right people, everything becomes a little bit easier. We have an incredible staff at Elements and the Chamber has encouraged strong partnerships within the community. We know it takes a team and we’re glad we’ve teamed up with the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce which has made for great success.
When we opened February 1, 2011 – we knew where we wanted to head with our business plan but never anticipated how rewarding it would feel to be part of a community and work with the people and business owners to the betterment of the community. We are so proud of our studio and staff and we all wish to say -Thank You Ahwatukee!
