In a world turned upside down, and as the uncertainty in the world around us continues, it is even more critically important for us to find our inner peace. This is for the sanctity of our mental and physical health. If we allow the stress from current events to effect our bodies, this could be be lead to various diseases.
Each of us has some means which brings on calmness and peace. It is necessary to carve out time each day to practice whatever that means is - physical exercise, practicing meditation, deep breathing for several minutes, painting, gardening, reading.....there is no end to the many activities in which we can find solace.
Finding our tranquility could potentially save us from unforeseen health hazards down the road. So, perhaps this is the most important thing we should be doing for ourselves each day. We can't control what is going on in the world, but we can control our minds, and limit the negativity and uncertainty which goes into it, and instead, focus on finding tranquility.
