As we approach the holiday season, it is so important to take the time to reflect, and be grateful for what is really important in our lives. We live in an age where people would rather communicate without having to speak to each other, where we spend more, but we enjoy less, where we have bigger homes and more possessions, yet, less happiness. Through advanced medicine, we have learned to add years to our life, but not life to our years. We have more amenities and conveniences, yet more stresses, and therefore, less wellness. Technology has allowed us to save time, yet, we have less down time.
Be grateful for the life you have, and for the people who are in your life, for they are the reasons your life is worthwhile.
Remember to say "I love you" to your love, and to your loved ones, because they won't be around forever.
Remember to give a smile to someone, it could be the only nice thing that happens to them in their day, and it doesn't cost you a cent.
Remember to hold hands and cherish each moment, because life is short.
Give thanks for the time you have to love and to live! Give thanks for the ability to share the precious thoughts in your mind, and be grateful for the people who have the ability to hear you!
