The power granted to mothers is a supreme one. The ability to protect, nurture, and love unconditionally is a gift bestowed upon all mothers. The first voice that we ever hear; and the first exhausted, but joyful, face that we see upon making our entry into this world, comes from our mother. They nourish and sustain us for months, and bring us out to join the party. For that fact alone, they should be honored and respected.
Mothers come in various shapes, colors and sizes, however, one thing is for certain: a mother's love. Mothers offer unconditional love, with no strings attached. Mothers have many hopes and dreams in their hearts for us. Whether your mother is a part of your life or not, she still has a vision for you and your future. She is your protector, your guiding light; this is her responsibility and right as a mother. She knows your faults and your graces; she will always be your biggest cheerleader and your number one fan. She did not receive a set of instructions as to how to raise you, when you came along. But, she did her best for you, always. She probably made many mistakes, and certainly did not have all the right answers, but she managed to the best of her ability.
Honor your mother. She has sacrificed for you, and has guided you throughout your life, and will continue to do so. Spend time with her and let her know how important she is in your life.
