SUMMARY
I've always wanted to help people, and until I found massage and went to school I don't think I knew how to. Not only has massage helped me and those close to me, but through it I have helped others. This is why I continue to work towards being a better massage therapist, bodyworker, and healer. I see the improvements that my clients undergo, and they often tell me that what we are doing is often what gets them through the weeks. I love all the ways massage uses my mind.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Myofascial Techniques, Structural Integration, Hips, Postural Assessment, Focus Work, Head, Neck, & Shoulders, Active/Passive Stretching and Sciatica.
SUCCESS STORIES
During my time at my last job, I met a man whose left hip was so bad since his surgery and was progressively getting more tense to where he was barely moving. It had been two years since his surgery. He came saying he was unable to work, and after a discussion and the first 5 minutes, we were doing a deep tissue massage. He was shocked that he could walk after the first session. For two months, he saw me every week for 2-hours, and then we moved to every two weeks, then 3 weeks, and when I left, we were at a month gap where he was almost pain free.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE
I listen and hear my clients words and pain. From this I will work where the client wants and explain where I need to work to help them with their pain as it is not always where we perceive it.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE
Focus on the session and what he issues my body holds, relaxing, and presence focused towards healing
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE
Honestly, I'm good at it. I like that I'm good at it. I like that it helps others in such a positive way and I can help the world through physical relief, even if it is for an hour, it is a moment of mental relief. Teaching people how to help themselves and seeing how they improve brings me joy.
