Philosophy on Healing: It is so easy to get detached mentally, to not feel like ourselves, but I believe it is so important to deeper our understanding about how detached we can get from our own bodies. We begin to ignore them, sometimes their the last thing we think about going through our busy days and there are many inconvenient and painful effects of this. We hold our stress and past experiences in our aching muscles that are begging for our attention. I believe massage is a mind body connection which promotes awareness and a heightened sense of how ones' body is functioning. I've found this connection creates an excitement and curiosity for people to be a part of their own healing journey. It is absolutely a team effort and my goal is to be a knowledgeable teammate in healing that makes my clients feel safe and heard.
Fun facts about me: In my past life I lived in New Zealand and also guided horse led pack trips in the Tetons for 6 years. I love fly fishing, making miniature ceramic food and hanging with my cat Hawt Dawg.
I love deep tissue/sports massage/trigger point therapy the most but also enjoy Swedish. I pretty much give all of my clients at least one stretch at the end of their session which I think is really important for the connection and longevity of pain relief.
