I’ve always had an interest in anatomy, and I wanted a career where I would be helping people. Growing up around massage therapists directed me towards choosing this career path for myself. Massage has also helped me through times of physical and mental distress.

We aren’t doing intensive, painful work but mostly light holds and a little bit of acupressure. This story reminds me that the body and mind sometimes just need the space to relax and feel cared for in order to find relief.

My style of massage is a mixture of therapeutic and relaxing. I recognize that the body won’t be able to heal itself properly if it’s in fight or flight mode, so my goal is to calm the nervous system while encouraging those specific problem areas to heal.
