What do you like most about massage?

I'm constantly impressed by the power of massage. It can relieve our deepest aches and allow us to truly let go of our tension. Our muscles, bones and fascia create a beautifully layered and interconnected 360° masterpiece for us to inhabit and experience the world through, but when one thing is out of balance, we can feel its effects throughout our whole body. The imbalance can start to leech away at our quality of life, it can lessen our smile, make us too tired to socialize, or even make us feel like we should stop doing the things we love to do. I feel a deep joy when I can lift that burden and restore harmony in someone's body.

Why do you feel those modalities / specialties are effective?

I believe in using the right tool for the job, and in the world of massage there are many different approaches. I usually mix a few modalities to address different issues and meet the needs of my client.. Shiatsu provides profoundly deep relaxation, Thai has amazing stretches, Trigger point gets to the core of your knots, Sports massage focuses on an athletes issues, Deep Tissue and Swedish are luscious and relaxing, Guasha and cupping work directly on the connective tissue that binds us together to release adhesions that keep us stuck..

Anything special you'd like to share about yourself?

I'm an artist and musician! I draw, sing, play guitar, bass and drums.

My wife and I are pet parents to 4 cats and a chameleon! She works in the veterinary field, and several of our pets were adopted when they came into her clinic needing a home. They fill our home with love, laughter and shenanigans.
