Therapist Thursday: What are some of the not-so-common benefits of getting a regular massage?
John L. Pantera Apr 4, 2013
Today is the second blog entry for Therapist Thursdays.
This week's question was “What are some of the not-so-common benefits of getting a regular massage?"
Here are 3 different answers from my team:
1. With massage therapy, pre-term infants have improved their weight gain.
2. Massage helps with the prevention and breaking down of scar tissue.
3. Massage therapy provides a boost to the immune system - possibly from reduced stress and flushing out toxins from the body.
