SUMMARY
I was introduced to massage at 18 by a massage therapist in the family who really interested me in all of the benefits of massage. I have been a Therapist for 18 years. Being a Therapist allows me to be a problem solver where I constantly use my knowledge and experience of Anatomy, Physiology & Kinesiology, along with my intuition and trusting my hands to guide to bring greater and long lasting relief.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Pin & Stretch, Reflexology, Headaches, Limited Range of Motion Work, Low Back & Hip Pain, Sciatica, Knee Pain, Plantar Fasciitis and Frozen Shoulders.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE
During a treatment massage I like to work the opposite muscles first. Usually I will have the client face up because the majority of times I can find the problematic issues that are causing pain this way.
SUCCESS STORY
I work a lot with clients who work in the service industry who all suffer from low back, hip, neck, shoulder and shoulder blade tension pain. I like to incorporate the glutes, hip rotators, upper pectoralis muscles, shoulder blades and front of the neck as part of my treatment plans. I find that my clients have a long lasting pain relief and an improvement in their posture.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING A MASSAGE
I appreciate the Massage Therapist's sense of touch and how well the Therapist assess the tissues.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE
It's an honor to be a Massage Therapist. In our society, not too many people receive nuturing touch. Massage Therapists being part of holistic health and wellness can help our clients to be empowered and be proactive about taking care of themselves the natural way.
