Michael, a Maryland Registered Massage Therapist, is a graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. He is trained in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, facelift massage, Shiatsu, kinesthetic awareness through movement and Swedish massage. Michael prides himself on his focused work on chronically tense/injured parts of the body by incorporating light to medium pressure with moments of deep pressure and slow, profound techniques. Whatever the focus or modality, Michael meets each client with the intention of sharing profound healing, empowerment and a deeper mind-body awareness.
Michael knows what it’s like when everything hurts. He was born with scoliosis which became progressively worse over 20 years, negatively impacting every aspect of his life. Doctors and spine specialists told him, ‘You'll grow out of it.’ When the pain became unbearable, he began to fix his body with the help of the many good people he’s met along the way. After years of hard work, he now enjoys good health. His mission is to share this message of hope and inspire others to do the same.
