Listen to negative self-talk and set about learning how to squash that inner critic. By being mindful of how you treat yourself, you will develop a habit of noticing when you are putting yourself down. Some of the best news we’ve received in life is to learn how to talk to yourself as a good friend.
- Set Priorities
It’s easy to get carried away and want to overhaul everything all at once. Before you put the cart before the horse, take a moment and write out the goals you want to achieve. Then break out each section into smaller to-do items and start with the simplest. By setting priorities, you can begin to bring about actual change and derive strength from your ability to grow.
