SUMMARY
I love working with people and I have always been fascinated with the human body. Massage therapy gives me a unique opportunity to directly and hopefully positively affect people's lives. I like to combine both treatment and relaxation to each of my sessions. I aim to help my clients with their pain, recovery, or stress. To help them improve their quality of life. To me, massage therapy is not just a job but a heartfelt mission to improve the well-being of others.
EXPERIENCED WITH
Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Hot Stone Therapy, Cupping, Prenatal, Migraine/Headaches, TMJD, Neck and shoulders, Chronic injuries, Plantar Fasciitis, Advanced Pain Management Therapy Certified and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certified.
SUCCESS STORIES
I have worked with a client that worked at a desk for many years. Her posture throughout the day for many years has caused her a lot of pain in the upper back, neck and shoulders and would frequently cause her headaches disrupting her sleep. We created a treatment plan for her to receive massages more often and a self care routine she can do in between sessions. Eventually she reported an improvement in her posture and lessening of the neck and shoulder pain along with less frequent headaches. She also started sleeping better at night.
WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGES UNIQUE?
I like to combine both treatment and relaxation in my massages. I like to educate my clients on why I work in a certain area and the benefits of getting it worked on. I think of these sessions as a partnership between the client and I and that we need to work together to achieve our goal.
WHAT DO YOU MOST APPRECIATE WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?
Attention to my needs. I like experiencing the different ways other massage therapists work on the tissue. Receiving massage is always a great learning experience.
WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?
Being able to help people and always, always learning new ways to help.
