What Do People Find Relaxing?

To celebrate National Relaxation Day this past August, Elements Massage set out to discover what people find relaxing.  To do this, Elements surveyed 180 adults, asking them to rank how stressful they found ten different, fairly common activities.  And the results are in! The survey was used to create the following list of which activities people find least stressful (at the top) to most stressful (at the bottom):

  1. Getting a massage
  2. Listening to music
  3. Having a nice dinner
  4. Going on vacation
  5. Watching TV
  6. Working out
  7. Shopping
  8. Spending time with in-laws
  9. Commuting to work
  10. Working
