Easy Yoga Routine to Reduce Back Pain

Do you suffer from back pain? Do you sit at a desk or in your car all day? Then this may be just the routine you need! Many traditional yoga practices include an overemphasis on the forward flexion movement of the spine, which can actually exacerbate certain back issues. But the gentle practice in this video focuses on extension poses that build strength and flexibility throughout the body to support and protect the spine.
Of course, not all exercises are suitable for everyone. If you are working with a specific back injury, be sure to get your doctor and/or physical therapist’s approval before attempting this workout. If you suffer from back pain regularly, be sure to consult a professional for an expert diagnosis.
