Cranial Sacral
What is Cranial Sacral Therapy?
Cranial Sacral therapy is a gentle approach to bodywork that focuses on the bones of the head, spinal column, sacrum, and the underlying structures. The goal of this modality is to release tension in the tissue/fascia that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord, thus positively affecting the central nervous system. This technique uses minimal pressure and compressive and decompression techniques, as well as some gentle myofascial unwinding. It is NOT a scalp massage.
