With 2019 come new opportunities to create a better environment for ourselves and each other. Of course, we all know that the number one New Year’s Resolution is to become healthier, and we want to help you achieve that goal. So let’s step right in with 2 New Year’s Resolutions for your health in 2019.

Set a Clear Budget for Going Out

The New Year’s Resolutions that most often fail are the ones without a clear and specific game plan. So for our advice, we’re not going to tell you that you should eat more vegetables or cook more, but we’re giving you one way of making sure that happens.

Of course, setting and following a budget itself is a great New Year’s Resolution. The idea is rather simple, take a look at how often you were going out to eat in 2018. This includes restaurants, cafes, fast food, and yes, premade meals from the grocery store (while it’s technically not, we all know it’s cheating). From there, decide how many times a month you want to go out and stick to it. It can be a difficult habit to form, sometimes we just walk into a cafe without thinking! But if you stick your mind to it, you will find that it’s a valuable and simple way to teach yourself responsibility and can be a gateway to better budgeting in general.

Plus, it saves you a ton of money.
