Education: Institute of Therapeutic Massage
Places Lived: I have lived in several houses but, all in the great state of NJ!
Places Traveled: I have been to almost all the states on the east coast either for vacation or to visit family. I’ve also been to Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Mexico.
My Dream Vacation: That would be a two-part vacation! First a sightseeing escapade through Europe! Then I would go to any remote island with a beautiful beach where I would be able to walk out from a hut (that comes with a butler!) right onto the sand. After all that sightseeing I would need to just relax and rest!
Favorite Massage Modalities: Favorite Massage Modalities: I love Swedish massage and Prenatal the most. To me. it is just so relaxing and soothing. After a Swedish massage you can feel the stress of the day just melt away. I find that Aromatherapy helps heal the body in so many ways!
I also love pre natal massage. Helping a mom to feel better and ease any discomfort she may be experiencing is just one reason why I love my job.
Philosophy on Healing: I think healing is a process that involves so many levels: Spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally to name a few. I believe no one way will work every time for everybody. You have to personalize your own healing formula. I believe both traditional and non-traditional methods will produce the optimum outcome.
In my other life (before I found massage therapy) I was… busy raising my 3 children and working in the office of an elementary school. I loved that time in my life, nurturing my kids and watching them grow into independent young adults. I went to massage school when I turned 50 to start a new chapter in my life. I cannot begin to express how much I enjoy massaging and helping people feel better! Going to massage school was definitely one of the best decisions in my life!
