In accordance with the new restrictions effective Tuesday, November 17, we remain open on our normal schedule.  No changes were made to our industry as massage therapy has not been shown to be a vector for spreading the virus.

We continue to follow our careful protocols.  We thank our clients for wearing masks at all times in our studio, and look forward to helping you manage stress and pain, the Elements Way.

Amanda | Biography

Education: Nevada School of Massage Therapy

Specialties or Training: Swedish, deep tissue, structural and injury techniques, Sports Massage, stretches, reflexology, Accupressure, Shiatsu and Thai massage techniques - Certified Healing Touch Practitioner

Favorite Massage Modalities: I combine every school of thought I have been taught on any given day. I work to discover the needs of my client and find the modality to encourage the best possible outcome.

Philosophy on Healing: I believe that Healing and Curing are two very different concepts. Western medicine has proven very essential in the curing process. Without vaccines and surgery there would still be many threats to our physical bodies that we don’t even have to consider today. But when there is not a known cure, or quick answer to our pain, we still have great opportunities to heal each and every day through many holistic methods of support and healing practices. I truly believe that healing is the choice to live in harmony with the truth through acceptance, willingness and self-love. I am not a healer bur rather one of many healing facilitators here to support the healing journey that each and every client has chosen to embark upon.

Exceptional Results: I had a client who sought massage for physical relief from a busy and stressful work and family life. After a few sessions she began to feel comfortable enough with me to share some emotional concerns as well. I began an open dialogue about Healing Touch and she invited me to incorporate a couple subtle techniques to help her feel more balanced. After our session she was deeply relaxed and enthusiastic about trying a new method of healing. A few months after that session she was diagnosed with breast cancer and without time to register her diagnosis she had a double mastectomy. She came in about a month after her surgery and asked me to give her a full Healing Touch session because her body felt too fragile for massage. She began receiving monthly 90-minute Healing Touch Sessions. We addressed not only her physical discomfort but her grief and emotional distress from the loss and sudden life change. I would practice mindful presence and choose energetic techniques that best supported her goals. We began incorporating massage in her wellness program as she started feeling connected to her body again. It was an honor to be a part of such a personal healing journey!
