To combat the heat and the accompanying dehydration that occurs, it is important to take mindful steps to drink enough fluid on a daily basis. Since 70 percent of the human body is made up of water, it is imperative to stay well-hydrated to avoid conditions like migraines, hypertension, angina, rheumatoid arthritis and more.
To live longer and healthier, we recommend drinking a minimum of eight to ten glasses of water a day. This equals out to about 64 fluid ounces. If you find yourself achieving this without much effort, up the ounce count to approximately half of your body weight in ounces.
