Meet Our Massage Therapists in Morris Plains, NJ

At Elements Massage Morris Plains, our highly trained and qualified massage therapists will work with you to meet your individual needs.

The Right Massage Everytime | The Elements Level Pressure System

The Elements Level System provides the perfect amount of pressure based on your needs. Our unique level system identifies the right pressure for you and your preferences. Read about the four levels below:

  • Level 1: A light and relaxing massage
  • Level 2: A medium pressure massage with no specific trigger point
  • Level 3: A medium to deep pressure massage with some trigger point work
  • Level 4: Very deep massage including trigger point (knots) work

In addition, each therapist at Elements specializes in working out the tension by blending techniques from several types of massage. Our massage therapists are trained in modalities like Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Some have had advanced training in other techniques, and everyone has techniques in which they're especially skilled or experienced. That is why we look at your health history, goals, challenges and lifestyle to match you with the therapist who best fits your individual needs!

Elements helps you better understand your options so you can get the best massage every time.

Deep Pressure vs. Deep Tissue | Understanding Deep Massage

Many people use the terms “deep tissue” and “deep pressure” interchangeably when they talk about their massage preferences. However, the two techniques are quite different and have very distinct goals.

The real similarity that exists between both terms is the importance to communicate with your therapist. Deep pressure and deep tissue massage can be uncomfortable in areas, but should never be unbearably painful. If you experience this type of pain during a session, always let your therapist know immediately so their pressure and technique can be adjusted.

Testimonials

"The massage I got at Elements was my first ever professional message. I was nervous going in, but as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the sweetest and most professional staff I've ever met! Michelle was my massage therapist and her experience really showed! I was really nervous about someone touching my body, but Michelle made me feel very comfortable and was very attentive to my needs and comfort. She made me feel safe in asking for changes of pressure depending on areas that bothered me. She even found areas that I didn't even know were bothering me! And something I personally liked also is she didn't push for me to have conversation. The environment perfect for relaxing - I almost fell asleep! Overall the massage was magical and I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Everyone was so kind and professional and really made me feel respected and welcome. Michelle gave me recommendations that suited my needs. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment! This is a wonderful place to go if you're looking for a friendly, professional, and comfortable location for a massage." - BM

"I have been going to Elements for two years. "I love the massage Michelle gives me. She always asks before starting if there are areas that need special attention. During my massage she checks to make sure the pressure is enough or too much. Michelle is one in a million who consistently performs at the highest level." - LR

Testimonials

"Tina is amazing!!! I’ve been trying to find the right masseuse for many years and I finally found her!! She is very knowledgeable. I’ve had really bad muscle adhesions in my upper back, with her deep tissue massage she always seems to get them out. I’m extremely grateful to her. " - SH

"The service was fantastic! This was my first massage and the staff was very understanding and willing to explain the different pressure levels before the session. Tina was great; the pressure started out light but I went ahead and said level 4 was fine going forward. She broke down how the tension was building in my muscles and could tell which side I favored based on muscle development. I was very impressed and highly satisfied. I will definitely be back and have recommended Elements to friends and coworkers." - AC
