Mark | Lead Massage Therapist

Mark studied massage therapy for two years at Virginia College in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated in 2012, and has been a practicing therapist since then.

A little history on Mark…

He grew up in a military family. This played a major factor when deciding whether to enlist in the U.S. Air Force, which kept him moving from place to place. Just a few of these of which he could call home, were in Texas, North Carolina, Germany and of course Alabama. Aside from the places Mark has lived, he also visited Arizona and Kentucky, as well as, France, Italy and Holland. Even though Mark have moved around and visited many places and quite a few countries, he would love to see each country he has yet to see! If money were not a factor, this would be his dream vacation!!

Now that you know a little about Mark's history, here is a little more about him as a massage therapist. He can give Swedish/relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point and sports therapy massages, but his preference on the type of massage leans heavily on deep tissue. It has become his favorite for two reasons. It has profound benefits toward lasting pain relief and a deeper feeling of relaxation. Mark's Philosophy on Healing is a cooperative practice between the person and their healer, being their massage therapist or doctor in a sense. The healer provides their talents, advice and services while the client applies the advice and tools given to aid in their own wellness.
