My mom was telling me that she got a massage the other day and it made me so jealous! I would love to get a massage. I actually didn't know that massage therapy could be so beneficial! It's really cool that touching is a natural reaction to pain. I never thought of that, but it's so true. Whenever I hurt myself, I rub the affected area. I guess it makes sense, then, that professional massage could be so helpful for injuries or pain!

It is great to know that just one hour of massage can be very beneficial for you! It would be nice to get massages a few times a month. That way you can regularly benefit from all of the advantages of massages! Hopefully that helps to make you feel better and happier.

This past summer I was always kayaking, biking and running, but your article definitely makes me wish that I had gotten massages on a regular basis during all of that. As you mention, I truly dealt with a lot of fatigue. Maybe next summer I can get a massage every three weeks or before and after every marathon or triathlon that I participate in.

I love that massage therapy has been around for so long! Relaxation can be hard to come by sometimes, and massage is an answer to that. Something that has been so effective for so long as massage therapy is something you want in your life.

I like that massages can take away the pressures of the day. Day's can be so stressful and full of so many activities. It would be nice to be able to get a massage on a regular basis in order to de-stress from those day's activities! That way you can be more calm and feel more at peace.

It was cool to learn about the benefits that come with massage therapy. I didn't realize that touching is a natural human reaction to pain and stress and help to convey compassion and support. I can imagine how helpful massage therapy can be when it comes to moving on after the loss of a loved one or friend.

I really appreciate how you point out that in an age of technical and impersonal medicine, massages offer a drug-free, non-invasive and humanistic approach to healing. I don't like needles or swallowing pills much and have been trying to find a better way to heal from my injuries. I think getting regular massages would allow me to relax and direct all my energy to healing.
