Hi, my name is Michael. had a strong desire to find a career in which I could help athletes alleviate and heal from sports related injuries and to simply prevent future injuries. By chance I stumbled on massage while looking for effective methods to treat sports related injuries and after a couple of weeks of doing research and exploring various massage schools, I found that I was drawn to the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Even though my original focus was on sports massage, the short time I spent at CSHA proved to be an effective catalyst in fueling a new dedicated love of massage as a whole.
While sports is still my favorite type of massage, I strive to continue in developing my skills in a variety of modalities. And to further understand the mechanical and physiological effects that massage has on the body. What I enjoy most is using massage to put the body in a parasympathetic state, which stimulates "rest and digest". This is done to facilitate relaxation, promote healing and improve flexibility so my clients can spend their day’s pain free.
Favorite areas of focus: Pecs, glutes, hamstrings, neck, low back. And I end every session with a scalp, ear and foot massage.
