"Staff is very pleasant and helpful and the facility is clean and attractive. But mainly, the masseuse I see is incredibly skilled and helpful. We have virtually no conversation-- just a very few words--which is not what I'm used to. But she is so attuned to my body, specifically the parts that hurt, that I am grateful for the non-verbal communication. I think of her as a "pain hunter," locating and extracting pain that is buried within, hidden behind shoulder blades or deep in a thigh. Sometimes the massages are merely wonderfully relaxing, but other times they are fully transformational, and I am much stronger afterwords, and this is quantifiable when I ride my bike and realize that I'm going significantly further and faster after seeing her than I was before. And that strength and stamina is retained for weeks, if not longer.
