Shelly  |  Therapist

Education: Southern California School of Massage

Specialties or Training: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Orthopedic Conditions

Favorite Massage Modalities: Sports Massage and Orthopedic

Philosophy on Healing: I am fascinated with the human body and how it works as a machine. I love the small details of how a person uses their body on a daily basis. This allows me to figure out over-use injuries and habitual issues someone might cause themselves. Exploring a client’s body mechanics helps me design a customized massage for the client’s body.

Exceptional Results: Every massage is a step towards an exceptional result. Part of what I teach my clients is to help themselves. I nurture them through a wellness plan and together we will achieve what they need for whole living.

Julie  |  Therapist

Education:  Pensacola State College

Specialties or Training: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy

Favorite Massage Modalities:  Trigger Point Therapy

Philosophy on Healing: Allopathic medicine aims to mask a symptom, where natural medicine finds the root cause of a condition and brings healing through balance. Massage therapy brings balance to many of the areas of the body through soft tissue manipulation. When these soft tissues are in alignment and the individual feels relaxed and well, the mind is free to focus on healing.

Exceptional Results: Working at a chiropractic office, I saw a great deal of spine and neck injuries. Patients would come in unable to turn their head or bend at the waist. After their spinal adjustment from the chiropractor I was able to relax their muscles bringing blood and oxygen to the injured area which helps with the healing process. With continued massage therapy sessions clients were able to increase their range of motion and decrease their pain level in their injury areas.

Ellie  |  Therapist

Education: Moscow School of Massage

Specialties or Training: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Prenatal

Favorite Massage Modalities: Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Relaxation

Philosophy on Healing: Massage isn’t a luxury these days, it is a necessity. You have to take care of you, so you can take care of others. There are so many ways to improve your health- massage is one of the most enjoyable ways to do so.

Exceptional Results: I would work on a client’s neck every two weeks to alleviate her headaches and neck tension. Each session brought much needed relief. I found this exceptional, not because we “fixed” her in a few visits, but that she recognized it was what her body needed and she chose massage over medication.
