As a courtesy to our therapists who rely on their schedules being full, please, if you need to change or cancel your appointment, give us a 3-hour notice to avoid being charged for your session. For appointments that are less than 3 hours before we open then notice
must be given the day before.

Session lengths include time for consultation, dressing and massage. The hands-on time for massage is scheduled to be 50/60/80/110 minutes for 60/70/90/120 minute sessions. We do our best to ensure all clients receive their full hands-on time.

There is a $10 premium for each session with one of our Senior Massage Therapists. The Senior Massage Therapists are listed in the "Meet Our Therapists" page of our website. Using Elements retention and request parameters along with tenure, these therapists have consistently met and exceeded expectations of their clients.

Rean Sealy: Therapist Highlights

Liz Garrison, LMT Aug 18, 2014

Ryan is our Lead Massage Therapist and highly requested.  Here are a few question I asked Ryan and his candid answers...

At what point did you decide to become a massage therapist and why?

My ex-girlfriend had been telling me for a long time that I should go to massage school. I resisted for awhile because I was not a huge fan of school and classrooms. One day she asked me to go somewhere with her and I agreed. It turned out to be an open house for the Swedish Institute in NYC (where i was living at the time). Having previously worked in a PT clinic (my High School career goal), I realised that the professions were very much aligned and I was intrigued. Unfortunately, the cost of the school was prohibitive ($26,000).
Long story short, I moved to Texas a couple years later, attended an open house at Sterling Health Center and went to massage school.

What modality is your favorite?

Giving and Receiving: Myofacial Release/Deep Tissue.

Tell me about a situation in which you helped a client the most?

The most recent example was just a few weeks ago; I had a guy come in who injured his shoulder playing golf. Apparently, he hadn't played for awhile and was trying to get back into the... wait for it... swing of things, before going on vacation with his dad who happens to play quite a bit. Anyway, when he came in he had limited range of motion and pain due to a rotator cuff tightness. I was able to restore his range of motion and relieve the pain in the shoulder facilitating his driving ambition to beat his dad.

What do you like best about working at Elements?

I enjoy the flexibility.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy doing a wide variety of things. Anywhere from going to movies, PS4, beer, shopping (Yes, there's a guy that enjoys shopping) and most importantly... Yankees baseball AND spending time with my daughter.
