Elements Therapeutic Massage is about to arrive in Swampscott.
Janice Kilburn, a local entrepreneur and 34-year Massachusetts resident, has just signed a lease to open Swampscott’s first Elements Therapeutic Massage business at 435 Paradise Road in Vinnin Square.
“I wanted to open my own business and create a supportive environment, not only for our clients, but also for massage therapists,” said Kilburn. Elements Therapeutic Massage employs certified massage therapists who provide customized massage services at an affordable retail price. The franchise, established in 2006, is rapidly growing with 76 studios currently open and several new locations opening nation-wide, each month.
“Initially as a massage client, I sought massage for its stress-relieving results, but later used it regularly as a treatment for my lower back pain. I was impressed with the effect and wanted to share my experience with others,” Kilburn added. “By offering attractive price points for regular massage sessions, the people of Swampscott can now incorporate massage therapy as part of their overall wellness regime. I am truly excited for our doors to open in February.”
Other area locations include Beverly, Middleton, Tewksbury, Stoneham and Woburn.
“With each new location, we are in a better position to help people live a better quality of life through the healing benefits that therapeutic massage offers,” said Michele Merhib, founder of the Elements Therapeutic Massage business model in 2000. “It is important in today’s fast-paced society that people take a regular mini-vacation, with a massage that can rejuvenate the mind and body.”
Elements Therapeutic Massage, touchofelements.com, is a massage therapy franchise that began franchising in 2006, headquartered in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
