James C. | Licensed Massage Therapist
Summary: "I wanted to pursue a career that wasn't in an office and something that was going to help other people. Massage is such a unique way to serve another person and an important way to keep in touch with other people in an age where that is becoming more and more rare."
What makes your massage unique? "I've been told my my style is very fluid, like ocean waves. I've been told that my style is efficient and I can get a lot done in a short amount of time. I don't believe in 'no pain, no gain' when it comes to massage. Massage doesn't need to hurt in order to be beneficial. That being said, I'm happy to give good pressure and I feel like I'm successful in providing firmer pressure without you being very sore in the days that follow your session."
Client success story: "Not a specific story but I have had a lot of success with people experiencing low back pain, sciatic discomfort, and plantar fasciitis."
What do you appreciate most when receiving massage? "I'm just happy to be on the table, but overall I like to trust a therapist's intuition and let them do their thing."
What keeps you passionate about massage therapy? "I continue to believe in massage as medicine for the body and a great way to help someone find themself."
What do you enjoy doing outside of massage therapy? "walking around town, exploring new places, and Pokemon"
