In a society that is always about what’s coming up next, always pushing you to “go, go, go,” it’s easy to become exhausted and drain our energy and emotions.  Being constantly tired and nearly always running on empty makes it difficult to be a part of a family or to be a friend to other people.  This is because we need to take care of ourselves so that we are able to love and take care of others.  Without immunities and energies, it is almost impossible to be a source of support for other people.  It is imperative that we take time to build up our own reserves by taking care of our own needs on a regular basis.

Other ways to take care of yourself so you can be a source of love and support for others is to make sure you are surrounding yourself with positive people and influences, and stay open to accepting help from those people.  The most successful and rewarding undertakings often involve groups of people working together, not a single individual taking on everything by herself.
