Stay Fit for a Cause This Labor Day with Elements Massage Franklin
This Labor Day, the Elements Massage team will be doing more than just grilling out on the deck or spending time at the lake with friends. This year, like last year, we will be joining thousands from the community at the much-anticipated Franklin Classic, an annual race and family event that combines fitness with a great cause: Mercy Community Healthcare.
Mercy Community Healthcare is a community organization that provides healthcare services to everyone regardless of their ability to pay, whether insured, uninsured, or simply underinsured. Pediatric and adult primary care services are available, as well as behavioral and mental health services in order to treat the whole person. They even offer an in-house pharmacy service to help with prescription medication. Mercy Community Healthcare aides thousands of people in the community each and every year, and depends on the generosity of donors and charitable events to remain open.
That is why we are so excited about participating once again in this year’s Franklin Classic, which will include a 10k and 5k race for adults, as well as a 1k race for the kids. Thousands will turn out to run in the races and take in the event, which will include booths from sponsors and some of middle Tennessee’s favorite food trucks and vendors. Elements Massage will have a booth to offer runners a quick mini-massage after the races and connect with the community.
Mercy Community Healthcare is such a worthy cause and we could not be more excited to participate in an event that benefits them and also encourages the community to get outside and stay fit—one of our biggest passions at Elements Massage Franklin. We hope you will join us at the 37th annual Franklin Classic this year, whether you are racing or just cheering and enjoying the last of the warm weather.
Registration information for the Franklin Classic can be found on Mercy Community Healthcare’s website at mercycommunityhealthcare.org/event/37th-annual-franklin-classic.
