Philip has extensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Philip has an Associates degree in Exercise Science from Macomb Community College and he obtained his education in massage at The Colorado School of Healing Arts graduating in 2013 with a 1000hr Associates of Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy. He is very passionate about holistic healing through bodywork. Philip uses a variety of modalities within sessions. Using his touch and intuition, he is known for integrating sports, myofascial, deep tissue, swedish, and trigger point. He is also certified to use T-bars. With a 300hr Certificate in Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy, he works on many clients who deal with medical conditions, injuries, chronic tension, and pain management. Philip is also certified in lymphatic drainage which is light flushing movements made to reduce edema/swelling and to flush the body of unwanted fluids. Great for pre/post surgery, sprains, strains, and detox. As an athlete himself, with multiple surgeries and injuries that he has rehabilitated, Philip understands the importance of proper care and treatment. He also understands pain, inflammation, and tension. Philip’s work is described as deep, neuromuscular, and effective. He believes in consistency and having a plan. His palpating skills and body awareness techniques help clients have a better understanding for what they are feeling.
