SUMMARY

I grew up with passions for exercise and sports. I played sports my whole life and baseball at the collegiate level. After school I found my way into the chiropractic setting, teaching patients therapeutic exercises for pain relief & injury recovery. From there I discovered a new passion for massage therapy and eventually found my way back in school to develop this skill. I love helping others with their wellness goals, whether it be with massage, personal training, or a combination of the two. I love seeing people accomplish their goals in regards to health & fitness and overall quality of life.

EXPERIENCED WITH

Deep tissue, Swedish/relaxation, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Injury Treatment, Pin & Stretch, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Psoas Work, Neuromuscular, Sports Massage, Craniosacral, Migraines/Headaches, Plantar Fasciitis, Sciatica, Geriatric, Minors

SUCCESS STORIES

One client in the chiropractic clinic had tried various forms of traditional body work with very little success. We discussed a game plan to incorporate craniosacral techniques along with targeted positional release, so that even though the techniques were deep tissue, the pressure was never too much. Communication during treatment was key as we navigated some tricky areas of their body that had never been worked on, but after a couple sessions the chronic pain they had been dealing with for a long time had begun to subside! We then started to incorporate stretches along with structural integration to empower the client with more body awareness and education. The goal was to learn how to move their body without fearing their pain returning. I'm still very proud of this client today!

WHAT MAKES YOUR MASSAGE UNIQUE?

I use a variety of modalities and techniques to cater the session to my client's individual needs. Massage is for the person receiving and I want to make sure my clients feel like they are being listened to and that their goals are being worked toward. I love incorporating myofascial work, deep tissue, Swedish, craniosacral, as well as exercise and mobility when appropriate, to offer clients a well-rounded and balanced session. I'm always willing to adapt my pressure and techniques mid-session to get the results my clients are looking for!

WHAT DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST WHEN RECEIVING MASSAGE?

Clear communication from the therapist to assure me they are working on the areas needed to address my goals

WHAT KEEPS YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT MASSAGE?

I'm always learning more with each and every session. Every massage is an opportunity to learn more about myself and to improve my skills as a bodyworker.
