"Ann is wonderful. She is so respectful of me as a person. I highly recommend her. The front desk personnel are always very accommodating and pleasant. " S.G.
Education: I have my B.A. in psychology and history from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. I then went to Harmony Path School of Massage Therapy and graduated there in 2009 and have been practicing massage therapy since then.
Places Lived: My dad was an active duty Officer in the Army so I lived in six different states as well as Germany before moving to Ohio in 1996.
Places Traveled: I have been to lots of different places but I'd really love to see the New England region of the U.S.- especially Boston, Maine, and Vermont.
My Dream Vacation: I love history so I do like going and learning things pretty much anywhere, but a dream vacation is being some place beautiful- the sea, the mountains, a cabin in the woods- doesn't matter, and I'd like to have nothing to do but read books!
Favorite Massage Modalities: My favorite is relaxation- overall palliative care for the whole body and spirit. I favor long fluid movements often using myofascial inspired techniques, as well as some trigger point and neuromuscular work as needed.
Philosophy on Healing: Touch as healing is incredibly powerful. My intent is always to be fully present with each client. Everyone can benefit in huge ways from regular massage work. Giving your body and mind regular opportunities to be still and to be nurtured through massage can be truly life changing.
In my other life (before I found massage therapy) I was...looking for a way to use my interpersonal gifts in a way that I found fulfilling and could be a gift for others. I am a wife and a mother who is blessed to have always been supported and loved and encouraged to seek out that path. I am a life long learner with many interests and joys and I love that this field allows me to follow along a variety of life's adventures.
