Elements Massage Chester

Not All Massage is Created Equal.

The Elements massage therapists in chester listen to your needs and employ the proper techniques to deliver a truly therapeutic experience.

We invite you to experience the rejuvenating benefits of massage therapy today and discover the positive effect it can have on your body and your well-being.

Therapeutic massage is a medically proven method for supporting your health and wellness. You’ll enjoy benefits of…

  • Relief from back and neck pain
  • Reduced stress
  • Increased circulation
  • Improved range of motion

We offer many modalities and techniques, and combine them in sessions handcrafted just for you:

Swedish: a light to medium pressure massage used for relaxation and to reduce stress

Deep Tissue: focused and specific work that uses firm pressure.  These techniques are used to penetrate the layers of muscle in order to relieve pain and release any knots and tension

Trigger Point Work: is integrated into a medium or deep tissue massage where a therapist provides focused attention and pressure on highly localized knots and areas of tension

Hot Stone: a therapist uses hot stones and oil.  The stones are heated in hot water and the therapist uses the heat from the stones helps relax your muscles and allows for a very soothing and deep massage

Prenatal: primarily consists of Swedish massage techniques and may incorporate some stretching to relieve tension and pain.  However, because no pregnancy is "routine," our therapists customize the massage to meet the individual needs of our clients.  It has been proven to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieves aches and pains, and reduce the anxiety that can accompany pregnancy

Sports: specifically designed for people involved in physical activity although one does not need to be an "athlete" to receive one.  It can include stretching and range of motion techniques as well as deep tissue and swedish strokes

Reflexology: the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet and hands.  Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health

Myofascial Release: is soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain.  The therapy relaxes any contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles

Reiki: a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the client by means of touch.  This is done to activate the natural healing processes of the client's body and restore physical and emotional well-being

Shiatsu: In Japanese it means "finger pressure"; it is a type of alternative medicine consisting of finger and palm pressure, stretches, and other massage techniques

Craniosacral: there is manipulation of the craniosacral system, which includes soft tissue and bones of the head (cranium), the spine down to its tail end (sacral area), and the pelvis.  The therapist will also work the membranes that surround these bones and the cerebrospinal fluid that bathes the brain and spinal cord.  Although the therapist uses a touch so light that many client's may not notice, most people report feeling profoundly relaxed after a treatment
