Walk-Run-Fly! The Orange Chicken Run (Cluck, Cluck)
Suzi Bier Oct 6, 2013
As the Saturday morning sunlight filtered through the trees of the crisp autumn air, seventy-five runners from Wilsonville and surrounding areas pulled on their running shoes to participate in the First Annual Orange Chicken Run! Spirits were high with everyone joining in for some honest-to-goodness feathered fun! Orange feathers, balloons and suportive family members and friends greeted the runners as they crossed the finish line.
With such an accomplishment, it was an honor for Elements to greet the well-deserving athletes with a relaxing massage. The nurturing touch of massage given by Tayler smoothed back the the tired feathers of the mascot while Hayden's healing hands reached sore muscles.
Along with a massage, a delicious meal of orange chicken and rice nourished the tired, hungry athletes. What a great day it was for a run! Special thanks to Jules, Ann and Lisa for inviting Elements to extend a helping hand in the First Annual Orange Chicken Run (cluck, cluck ü).
