Katey Kinghorn Oct 10, 2013
Everyone has experienced a headache at least once in their life, and if you haven't, consider yourself lucky. The question for this weeks Therapist Thursdays is to help people ease the pain of a headache - "What are some non-traditional headache remedies?"
Sharon D: Massage, a healthy diet, herbs, acupuncture, and 6 to 8 hours of sleep.
Fallon O: Massage, aromatherapy (especially eucalyptus and chamomile) and staying away from caffeine.
Kristine D: By taking 10 mg of melatonin, applying peppermint oil on your temples, or by placing ice or heat over your eyes.
Headaches can be just plain miserable. Instead of suffering through, always try different remedies for the pain that work for you!
