Sophie was born and raised in Quebec, Canada. She became captivated by the function of the human body after overcoming a life-threatening heart condition in early childhood. After 10 years as a competitive gymnast, she enrolled at Kine-Concept Institute, a prestigious educational facility that also serves as a research center for preventative care and pain management through therapeutic massage. During her 12-year massage therapy career, Sophie's clientele has included professional and amateur athletes, paraplegic and quadriplegic competitors, rehabilitation patients, business professionals, and stay-at-home mothers.
Since moving to the US from Canada, she has enjoyed living the Florida lifestyle with lots of sun, sand and swimming. She also enjoys spending time chasing after her toddler boys, watching her husband and step-children's football and basketball games, and debating Canada vs. American hockey with her husband.
Sophie firmly believes that optimal physical wellness is achieved through a multi-faceted approach that balances prevention, strengthening, treatment, and nutrition. In 2010, she was certified as a personal trainer through CanFit-Pro, and can often be found working out or practicing yoga in a local health club or studio in her spare time.
Sophie's favorite modalities include Sports Massage, Stretching, Swedish, Deep Tissue and Therapeutic.
