Mike earned his massage certification from Carrington College in Pleasant Hill, California. Mike is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and made his home in California about 10 years ago. Prior to delving into the field of massage therapy, he was a personal fitness trainer for 10 years and specialized in injury rehabilitation and aging issues. Mike became a massage therapist because it was a natural extension of his fitness background and he wanted to facilitate in helping people heal and enjoy quality of life. Mike can easily relate to his client’s pain as he injured his lower back in a parachute accident several years ago. Mike prefers to do Deep Tissue and Trigger Point while incorporating corrective exercises and stretches.
Mike’s philosophy on health and wellness is that one should find the solution that works best for them and keep an open mind to new scientific discoveries. Mike has traveled to various places including Australia, Mexico, Canada, Jamaica, Bahamas, Aruba and 49 and out of the 50 states. He hopes to one day go camping at all of the U.S. National Parks in a two-year tour. During his spare time, Mike takes pleasure in hiking, reading, studying astronomy, writing. Mike and his wife have two rescue puppies, Miss Petey Pie 1 year and Cleo 9 weeks. They have him wrapped around their paws.
