Favorite Area Of Focus: My favorite massage modality to use is a therapeutic massage. To me, therapeutic massage encompasses a lot more than just one modality. It contains deep tissue, active release (with and without resistance), assisted release, myofascial release, myoskeletal release, and tension headache release. Instead of focusing on just one single modality, I like to focus on whatever your body needs at that moment in time, in order to make you feel better.

"Jose was both professional and friendly. He was informative on things he was doing and the root of my problems."
"Jose listened to my concerns & addressed the problems to give me some relief."
~ Dream Vacation: A two week vacation to watch all of the best rivalry games in soccer. I would start off on Saturday in Mexico to watch America play Chivas. From there, I would fly to Germany to watch Bayern Munich play Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. Next, I would fly to Spain to watch Barcelona play Real Madrid on a Saturday, fly back to New York and watch the Yankees play Boston on a Sunday.
~ Philosophy of Healing: My philosophy of healing comes from my knowledge of multiple modalities of massage, combined with my experiences with other massage therapists, physical therapists, and chiropractors, to create my own personal style. I believe that finding the source of the injury is more important than simply focusing on the injury itself and kinetic movement and deactivation of the muscles are the best way to heal the body. Often times we practice moving and working out, but we don’t ever practice shutting our bodies down. The best way to heal, is to shut off your body completely and put your body into neutral, so your body can repair itself properly.
